Bond Chemicals started as a small pharmacy called "Bond Chemist" located at Alafia Street in Lagos. Founded with a vision to provide quality pharmaceutical products to the local community, this modest beginning laid the foundation for what would become one of Nigeria's leading pharmaceutical companies.
Recognizing the growing demand for quality medicines, Bond Chemist expanded its operations beyond retail pharmacy. The company began importing and distributing pharmaceutical products across Lagos State, establishing partnerships with international suppliers and building a reputation for reliability and quality.
The company took a bold step into pharmaceutical manufacturing, establishing its first production facility. This marked the transformation from Bond Chemist to Bond Chemical Industries, focusing on producing essential medicines for the Nigerian market and reducing dependence on imports.

Chairman & Founder
The Board of Directors of Bond Group of Companies is chaired by Sir Asiwaju Theophillus Adebowale Omotosho, who also founded the company, He is a pharmacist, industrialist and philanthropist. He received his education at various institutions, including First Baptist Primary School, Jos, Keffi Government College, School of Pharmacy Zaria, and Technical College, Bradfords, England.
Throughout his career, Sir Chief Dr. Adebowale Omotosho has worked with reputable multinational organizations such as St. Jame’s Hospital, Leeds, Huddersfield Cooperative Chemists, and UAC/Kingsway Chemists. He holds memberships in several professional bodies, including the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and the British Institute of Management, also a fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria. Additionally, he is affiliated with numerous clubs and societies, reflecting his active engagement in social and professional circles.
Managing Director
Pharm. Aderemi Olayinka Omotosho, born in Lagos State in 1973 and a native of Awe in Oyo State, began his disciplined educational journey at Command Secondary School, Ikeja, and Nigerian Military School, Zaria. He studied Pharmacy at the University of Ibadan and later obtained an MBA from LAUTECH, Ogbomosho. He started his career at Mopson Pharmaceutical Limited and joined Bond Chemical Industries Limited in 2000, rising to the position of Managing Director in 2005 due to his dedication and visionary leadership.
Under Omotosho’s guidance, Bond Chemical Industries has significantly expanded its operations, customer base, and manufacturing capacity. The company is known for producing high-quality, affordable pharmaceutical products and is notably the only indigenous Nigerian pharmaceutical firm producing Hydroxyurea for sickle cell treatment at a subsidised rate. His leadership also saw the commissioning of a WHO-standard factory to align with global best practices in pharma manufacturing.
Beyond business, Omotosho actively supports the pharmacy profession through internship opportunities, research support, and sponsorship of pharmacy-related events. He is a member of several professional bodies including PSN, NAIP, PMG-MAN, and NACCIMA. A committed philanthropist, he founded an NGO that has supported over 400 widows and numerous orphans for over two decades. A recipient of multiple awards, he is married to Mrs. Tope Omotosho and is blessed with children.

General Manager (Production)
Pharm. Clement Olajide ADEBOYE (M. Pharm) is our General Manager. He has over three decades' dedicated service in the pharmaceutical industry. He is a multidisciplinary industrial pharmacist and brings his wealth of knowledge and proven track record in our effective drug manufacturing, operational management and regulatory documentation.
He is well skilled in dosage formulations product development, regulatory compliance, supply chain, training and mentoring, project management, machinery procurement and installations making him a versatile and valuable leaders in our organization.
A passionate advocate for professionalism and discipline in workplace, he is committed to ensuring the production of safe, high-quality, and efficacious medicines in line with global standards.
He is a member of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (MPSN).
Plant Manager
Pharm. Akeem Olawale AZEEZ (B. Pharm) is our Plant Manager. He has close to three decades’ of hands -on experience in the industry. He plays a vital role in ensuring that all our manufacturing operations strictly adhered to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and meet the highest standard of quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
He is our key liaison between the company and the regulatory authorities such as National Agency for Food and drug administration and control (NAFDAC) and the pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria (PCN), and other relevant agencies. His regulatory expertise and attention to detail have been instrumental the company’s excellent compliance track record.
He has attended numerous seminars, conferences and workshops in the course of his career which has enhanced hist technical and managerial competencies.
He is a member of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (MPSN) and the Association of Industrial Pharmacists of Nigeria (NAIP).
Chief Accountant
Mr Alex Fabiyi(FCA) is our Chief Accountant. He is a highly accomplished and detail-oriented Finance Professional with over Twenty years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting operations, and strategic planning across different sector with a strong track record of maintaining financial integrity, optimizing cost structures, and ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
He is also skilled in leading end-to-end accounting functions including financial reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, internal controls, and audit coordination, playing a pivotal role in supporting executive decision-making through accurate and timely financial analysis
His strong financial acumen, commitment to transparency, and deep understanding of regulatory compliance continue to contribute significantly to the financial health and strategic direction of our company.

He has attended many seminars, conferences and workshops in Financial Management, Auditing and Risk Management in sharpening his expertise and leadership capability.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA).
National Sales Manager
Pharm. Olumakinde Solomon OLUDEPO (B. Pharm, MBA) is our National Sales Manager. He is a seasoned and dynamic sales strategist with over two decades of progressive experience in Sales and Marketing within the pharmaceutical industry.
His robust background spans a wide range of roles, including Medical Representative, Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager (West), and ultimately National Sales Manager, across several reputable and leading pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria prior to joining Bond Chemical industries Limited.
His career with us is distinguished by his ability to drive market penetration, manage large sales teams, develop strategic marketing plans, and build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders across Nigeria. Under his leadership, our sales teams have consistently surpassed targets and expanded market share in our strong competitive environments.
With a strong academic foundation in both pharmacy and business administration this has equipped him with a unique blend of scientific insight and commercial acumen to manage our sales team.

National Marketing Manager
Mr. Andrew Aina is our National Marketing Manager. He is an experienced, energetic, and results-oriented marketing professional with nearly three decades of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, spanning Regulatory Affairs, Sales, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
He is renowned for his strategic leadership, attention to detail, and proven ability to enhance brand awareness, drive market growth, and strengthen organizational visibility. A pragmatic team player, he excels in managing marketing projects from conception to completion, consistently delivering measurable outcomes.
Mr. Aina is highly skilled in digital marketing strategy, leveraging online platforms to boost sales performance and overall productivity. He has successfully developed and executed both online and print marketing campaigns that have expanded partner relations and market reach for the company.
A thoroughbred marketing management professional, he is known for his professionalism, excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills. He effectively manages marketing teams, monitors campaign performance, optimizes budget utilization, and ensures that all marketing initiatives align with corporate objectives.
Mr. Aina has been instrumental in securing and sustaining the regulatory approval of over 90 pharmaceutical products, pioneering the company’s business expansion across Africa, and fostering international partnerships for the global availability of key brands. He played a pivotal role in the successful introduction of notable products into the Nigerian and African markets, including Oxyurea (Hydroxyurea) — leading its registration, market activation, and partnership development.
Recently, he led the company’s delegation to the 5th Global Congress on Sickle Cell Disease, a prestigious international event that brought together experts from around the world.
He has attended numerous exhibitions, conferences, and seminars both locally and internationally, further enhancing his professional expertise.
A sports enthusiast, he is also an active member of several professional bodies.
Head, Human Resources & Administration
Kayode Ebenezer ADEJUMO (BSc., MSC., ACIPM, ACIA) is our Head, Human Resources and Administration. He is a versatile and results-oriented professional with a strong background in people management, organizational development, and administrative leadership. He has over two decades of progressive exposure in human resources, administration and operations.
His leadership ensures the organization maintains a well-structured, motivated, and compliant workforce aligned with business goals, regulatory standards, and industry best practice.
He is also an experienced trainer and facilitator, passionate about employee development, leadership growth, and workforce capacity building.
He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), the Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA), and the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD), a reflection of his continuous professional development and commitment to excellence in human capital management.
Warehouse/Logistics Manager
Daniel Stephen EJIGAH (PGD, MCILSCM, FCIWM and MBA in view) is our Warehouse and Logistics Manager.
He is a productive, and highly skilled professional with close to two decades of hands-on experience in materials management, procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
He provides strategic leadership and supervision of all our inventory and warehouse activities, ensuring smooth coordination of materials procurement, stock monitoring, logistics planning, and distribution processes.
His approach emphasizes GMP compliance, effective inventory control, and zero stock-out performance, especially for raw materials, packaging, and finished products has been a strong quality on this role.
A strong team leader, he works closely with the Production and Sales departments to align warehouse operations with demand forecasts, drive timely reorders, and facilitate product redistribution across depots.
He plays a key role in procurement planning, vendor negotiations, and ensuring timely delivery of materials, while also managing third-party warehousing and logistics partners to ensure cost-effective and efficient material flow.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Warehousing and Materials Management (FCIWM) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (MCILSCM).
